para SamuraiDolls : In a nutshell I'm in Canada so anyting around four hundred American is closer to 600 Canadian. It all depends where you order from what you get for quality not necessarily what you pay just being careful where you order from as well being careful to not get extra fees for importing and such. You'll see one place that's got a pretty fair price but they want an extra 200 or 300 for shipping then you'll find somewhere else where the shipping is free for the same thing. Mostly you just got to be careful about the details with the language barrier and such.the Dolls about 10 years ago we're on average 500 American for 1 150 cm too 170cm but back then you couldn't get them outside of Japan unless you dealt with real doll and you already know about their America back then. Now that they're available on the Western Market the Chinese ones have gotten really expensive depending which supplier you deal with. What kind of funny is when you see somebody charging 3 Grand and somebody charging about 900 and they're selling the same product and the same quality just nobody's doing their homework to notice that the two places are selling the same product it's not that one product is better quality than the other but one person is just trying to get away with charging way more. i do see higher quality stuff at a higher price tag and I fully respect that!. There are a few companies out there offering automated facial feature heads that have a built-in AI system basically something similar to Amazon Echo thing. Those heads are about 1,400 American and they're basically the same mechanical structure as a Teddy Ruxpin combined with a crude digital assistant unit;) which means you get a doll that has moving eyes and mouth that you can communicate with some. I've seen a couple of videos but I've never played with one personally to see what kind of quality they've got. I suspect the programming is super Limited I don't think there anything as good as that Japanese ai that came out a few years back that they're not offering in English lol.the holographic waifu thing I'm sure you know what I'm referring to. I'm kind of new to this. i Tried looking up the doll laboratory using Google massive fail.wear ca i get those eyelid inserts? They're quite a handy idea.iam kicking around the idea of doing a few attempts at life-size versions of a couple of action figures and Lowe's eyelid inserts would definitely be a Improvement and what I'm trying to do. the Videos you in a few other people posted got me curious and I started looking around on a few websites like AliExpress.i at one point got into doing 12 inch custom action figures but I didn't stay with it very long because the hobby price wise got crazy around the time I got into it. Believe it or not I can do a 150 too 170 cm for about the same price as a 12in lol. When I was doing the 12-inch stuff the Life-Size dolls started out at about 5000 now you can get a doll like in your videos between 400 and 900. Depending what you were doing in the 12 inch range it was getting to the point you were looking at between 400 and 600 and that's if you didn't go buying something from a company like hot toys or something similar. Some of the 12 inch ball joint dolls of the major from Ghost in the Shell start out at 400 and 500 American lol and they're not even very well made or much to look at
